In April, police in Palm Desert, California arrested the New Pornographers drummer Joseph Seiders and charged him with possession of child pornography, annoying/molesting a child, invasion of privacy, and attempted invasion of privacy. Among other things, Seiders was accused of filming an 11-year-old boy on a cell phone while the boy was using a Chik-Fil-A bathroom and of entering and exiting the same bathroom with underage boys. Since then, more of Seiders’ alleged victims have come forward.
