Stephen Colbert’s Late Show will end in May. Late Night With Seth Meyers barely ever booked musical guests even before the show’s house band was laid off in 2024, and now it never does. Today, we learn that Jimmy Kimmel Live! plans to reduce its number of musical guests. At this point, there are precious few places for musicians to perform on TV. Maybe we’ll have to start posting Tiny Desk Concerts instead.
