It’s somehow been six years since the Strokes released their “new” album, the Grammy-winning The New Abnormal, and the band has been announced for a zillion festivals this year, including an appearance at Coachella this Saturday. So perhaps it was obvious a new LP was on the way. Today they’ve confirmed it.
