Big Fat Head have been kicking around my state for quite some time now. The group got started nearly a decade ago in Athens, Ohio, where I attended Ohio University once upon a time. (Sadly, my college years were way more than a decade ago.) Back then the band was more like Nate Wilder’s solo project. But in the post-COVID years, Big Fat Head took root in Columbus and became more of a unit. At this point they’re up to six members. Opening for Water From Your Eyes a few weeks ago, they were formidable.
