One of the biggest hits of Sundance was The Invite, an anxious so-called comedy about a dinner party gone awry directed by Olivia Wilde, with a cast led by Wilde, Seth Rogen, Edward Norton, and Penélope Cruz and a script by Will McCormack and Rashida Jones. That film was acquired by A24, and it’s coming out next month. Sooner than that, we’ll get to hear its original score, composed by the great Devonté Hynes.
