There’s a deep history of Interpol songs that are maybe sort of ambiguously about the band’s New York City hometown, and now we’ve got another entry in that canon. Next month, the veteran rock fashionistas will release their new album This Mirror Weighs A Ton. They recorded it with big-deal producer Andrew Wyatt, and it’s got a mixing job from psychedelic rock legend Dave Fridmann. We’ve already posted the first two singles, the title track and “See Out Loud,” and now they’ve shared “Iron City,” a majestic slow-burn with murky pianos and nice little music-box chimes.
