In a couple of weeks, the ultra-talented Queens musician and widespread collaborator Nick Hakim will release his very cool new album I Can See. When he’s not assisting other artists, Hakim makes woozy, delicate psychedelic soul, and he pushes that sound ever further inward on the new record. He sounds like Marvin Gaye sleepily murmuring to himself before drifting off to sleep. We’ve been very into the early singles “Real Here Now,” “Water,” and the title track. Today, Hakim shares two more.
