Scottish-born Steven Hall was a fixture of the NYC underground in the ’80s. He collaborated closely with Arthur Russell, and after Russell’s death, he formed the tribute band Arthur’s Landing. But beyond his association with Russell, Hall has been recording music as Nirosta Steel for decades, and only recently has that music gained widespread recognition.
