Wild Pink’s upcoming album Still Coming Down feels a lot like MJ Lenderman cosplay, but can we even be mad about it? It sounds good, and Lenderman himself works on the record, so he must not mind. “250 Is The New 500” — which follows “Round Of Applause At The End Of The World” and “Box Store” — has a man taking a Cybertruck to his favorite bar (poetically called Hard Luck) to bet on his phone and drink alone. That’s a Manning Fireworks guy alright. But that album didn’t have a whole lot of shredding, and this one does. Thank god for that. Check out “250 Is The New 500” below.
