Putnam Avenue in Brooklyn’s Bed-Stuy neighborhood now shares a name with one of the most influential rappers of all time. Yesterday, with an official ceremony that brought together friends, family, and government officials, Putnam Avenue also became ODB Jones Way, named after Wu-Tang Clan co-founder Ol’ Dirty Bastard.
