The experimental rock band Shearling, like Alex Kent and Sylvie Simmons’ prior outfit Sprain, have an often extreme approach to music that inspires fierce devotion and revulsion. But whether you love them or hate them, hopefully we can all agree they’re great at naming records. Shearling debuted last year with the single-track epic album Motherfucker, I Am Both: “Amen” And “Hallelujah”… This year — this week, in fact — they’ll follow it up with a new EP called Don’t Look At Me The Way A Dog Might Look At Your Leg.
