The Dayton/Columbus quartet Smug Brothers plays a scrappy, classicist form of indie rock that shows plenty of influence from local heroes like Guided By Voices, who once counted Smugs drummer Don Thrasher among their ranks. Next month, they’ll follow up last year’s very fun Stuck On Beta with a new LP called Pinhole To Vortex, and they started rolling it out today.
