Bibio’s Stephen Wilkinson and Dorian Concept’s Oliver Johnson have known each other for over 15 years, but the instinct to start creatively collaborating didn’t happen until a few years ago when Wilkinson saw Johnson’s video for 2022’s “Let It All Go.” Since then, they’ve been working on an audio-visual project, aptly titled Bibio & Dorian Concept. Yesterday, they announced their debut album Answers, out Oct. 16 via Warp, with the single and accompanying video “Lichen Trip.”
