The Smashing Pumpkins’ classic blockbuster double album Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness actually turned 30 last year, but the band is just now getting around to celebrating that anniversary on a new arena tour. Earlier this year, the band announced their Rats In A Cage Tour, advertising “two unique sets celebrating Mellon Collie at 30 & nearly four decades of unruly hits & dark treasures.” The tour kicked off in Columbus last night, and the world got to see what that means.
