Alex Lifeson and Geddy Lee are back on tour as Rush for the first time since drum god Neil Peart’s death in 2020, now with Anika Nilles behind the kit. At their first show, Aimee Mann joined them onstage at the Los Angeles-area Kia Forum to sing her guest spot on “Time Stand Still.” Mann reprised her appearance at three more Forum gigs over the past week. Presumably she won’t be with Rush when they move on to Mexico City this week. She almost wasn’t with them in LA.
