The song first reached #1 on the Hot 100 back in February. Other songs have ascended to the top of the charts and knocked “Choosin’ Texas” off, but it just keeps coming back. This week, “Choosin’ Texas” is back at #1 for its 19th week, which puts Langley in a three-way tie for the longest-running #1 hit in Hot 100 history, non-Christmas division.
