An Australian TikToker recently ran into Geese frontman Cameron Winter at an airport, and they had a little impromptu interview. When asked what was next for Geese, Winter said, “We go deeper into the sort of belly of whatever, you know, indie complex is shilling us right now.” When he got the obvious follow-up question about the “indie complex,” Winter said, “Oh, it’s so complex, so complex. Even I don’t know how it works, why we’ve been chosen as the sort of main product.” So: Was he talking about… us? Stereogum?
