Only one month in, Pharrell has already had a momentous 2026. Not all of it has been great; he was sued by his former Neptunes production partner Chad Hugo. On the bright side, he debuted new music during his Louis Vuitton’s FW26 show in Paris and was knighted by French president Emmanuel Macron during the Fashion Week festivities. Thursday night, he was honored by the Recording Academy’s Black Music Collective at a pre-Grammys event that featured a speech from Tyler, The Creator and performances by Justin Timberlake, Clipse, and Leon Thomas.
