Every September, the Hopscotch Music Festival brings an eclectic, idiosyncratic lineup to venues all around Raleigh. It’s a great time. The whole Stereogum staff went down to the fest in 2019, and we saw a ton of cool stuff. Last year’s fest looked sick, with a bill that include Earl Sweatshirt, Sparks, Godspeed You Black Emperor!, Geese, and Unwound. Today, the Hopscotch organizers announced the lineup for this year’s fest, which goes down Sep. 10-12, and it’s got some surprises.
