He just released his neo-soul album Monica, and during the promotional rounds, he went on the New York Times Popcast, he told two white music writers that he “got Blacker.” Also he wore a gigantic and very silly hat in his “Say Hello” video. As a result, Harlow has been the target of jokes from august institutions like Saturday Night Live and Dionne Warwick.
