Jejune And Ethel Meserve Announce First Shows In Over 25 Years

The emo trio Jejune started at Boston’s Berklee College Of Music in the late ’90s, and they relocated to San Diego and released two charged, twinkly records in the late ’90s before breaking up in 2000. I don’t hear their name mentioned too often these days, but they were definitely a big part of that early emo wave. Earlier this year, the Numero Group announced that they’d signed Jejune. Now, the band has announced a brief run of reunion shows, set for next February in Japan.
