It’s been years since I first encountered the music of South London-born artist JGrrey. Her 2019 EP Ugh was a delightful mix of trip-hop, effortless satiny vocals, and stinging lyricism. JGrrey has continued steadily releasing singles and put out a project titled If Not Now? in 2023. But there hadn’t been any word of the London musician’s debut album until today.
