Washington, DC’s Pretty Bitter share touring members with Ekko Astral, and they just played Ekko Astral’s trans rights festival Liberation Weekend. Next month, they’ll release Pleaser, the new album that they recorded with producers Evan Weiss and Simon Small. We already posted lead single “Thrill Eater,” and now they’ve also soared a soaring and genuinely gorgeous synthpop jam called “Outer …

I’m not a big science person, but Newton’s third law — every action has an equal and opposite reaction — has always stuck with me. Not even when it comes to objects being thrown at walls, but with any personal life choice there’s an effect or cosmic ripple. Michigan’s post-emo group Hot Mulligan seem to have also taken this to …

Frost Children are back to wreak more havoc. The New York electro-pop duo joined forces with Haru Nemuri for the collaborative EP Soul Kiss last year, not without some drama. Now the siblings are announcing their third full-length SISTER, and the lead single “CONTROL” is a riot.

Teethe announced their upcoming album Magic Of The Sale last month with its great title track, which we crowned one of the Best Songs Of The Week. Today the Texas slowcore band has shared another preview with the bold “Holy Water.”

The refreshing songs “Save Your Soul” and “Say Goodbye, Tell No One” …

You want to hear it, and you’re excited, but you hope it doesn’t tarnish their legacy. Somewhere in the back of your mind, you can’t …

Yay, a Wednesday tour! We already know the North Carolina indie rockers will be playing at Levitation and Best Friends Forever festivals later this year, and today they’ve announced a bunch of headlining shows of their own across North America this fall.
