Last night Pet Shop Boys kicked off a five-night run at London’s Electric Ballroom. They’re calling the residency “Obscure Pet Shop Boys,” promising no hits. The setlist was obscure, indeed, composed entirely of live debuts and rarities dating all the way back to their 1986 debut album Please through 2024’s Nonetheless.
