Revered Jazz Drummer Jack DeJohnette Dead At 83

Jack DeJohnette, the widely praised jazz drummer best known for his work on Miles Davis’ fusion records, has died. A press representative for ECM Records confirmed the news to the Guardian, while DeJohnette’s personal assistant added that he died from congestive heart failure. He was 83.
