she’s green, from Minneapolis, have a gauzy, dreamy sound that they call “moss music.” I think that’s cool. More bands should invent their own fake genres. If she’s green hadn’t done that, we’d just be calling them a shoegaze band, and that description would be reductive and a little inaccurate. They’re definitely in the shoegaze zone, but there’s some Cocteau Twins and maybe a little Helium in there, too.
