WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA, Slayyyter’s awesomely fried level-up LP, is Stereogum’s favorite album of 2026 thus far, and it has brought Slayyyter an unprecedented level of hype. Slayyyter’s just started off an extremely sold-out headlining tour, and she’s also got some big festival gigs and a few other things coming up. (I am jealous of everyone who gets to see Slayyyter and Die Spitz open for Turnstile in Lawrence, Kansas in October.) At those headlining shows, Slayyyer is performing new songs.
