Next week, the Drin, the subgenre-hopping, grimily grandiose Cincinnati underground rock unit, will release their new double album I Lost My Way For Centuries. The band has already shared the promising singles “Haven’t Lived It Yet” and “Prophets Of Doom,” and today they add a third. With its steadily pounding beat, well-placed tambourine, and flurries of horns and strings, “Cannery Action” makes me feel like I’m attending a psychedelic post-punk show at the end of the world.
