We’ve been buzzing about the rising London combo World News for so long that I almost can’t believe they’re just now announcing their debut album, but it’s true: In Purgatory is about to get out of purgatory with release set for October on Pie & Mash. The album will feature the April single “Sidestep” as well as last year’s “Everything Is Coming Up Roses” and “Don’t Want To Know.” Today the band adds to that hot streak with a video for the Knopfler-meets-Marr clean-guitar clinic “The Way It Goes.”
