It’s another day in 2026, and the algorithm has been force-feeding us Creed. I was wondering why Chuck Mundy — that guy with an old man’s prosthetic mask and a gazillion hot dogs and Busch Lights, singing “One Last Breath” — kept popping up on my Instagram. Although the algorithm might be catering to my unhinged, trashy taste, many users have been noticing recently that Instagram has been recommending Creed’s 1999 hit “Higher” to soundtrack story posts.
