Do people ever confuse the young Philadelphia shoegaze crew Bleary Eyed for the post-Oasis Liam Gallagher band Beady Eye, or is that just me? For their entire existence, I kept thinking of Beady Eye as “Bleary Eye,” and now there’s a Bleary Eyed. This might be what finally pushes me into the “OK grandpa, let’s get you to bed” phase of my life. The two bands don’t even look or sound anything like each other. It’s just my own brain dissolving in real time.
